ID TECH's Reader-Writer Two magnetic heads to enable it to write and verify data with a single pass.  Capable of encoding any of three tracks at either 75 or 210 BPI density. The Reader-Writer reads and decodes up to three tracks of information with a single swipe.  A long stainless-steel card guide ensures better card registration and minimizes alignment problems.  Magnetic stripe data is output to a standard RS-232 serial interface.  The Reader-Writer verifies the written magnetic stripe data in ISO-ANSI or user-defined formats.  Verification status is signaled by a series of three LED indicators.  Compatible with ISO-ANSI AAMVA and California DMV formats the Reader-Writer can be programmed using menu-driven operating software.  User-programmable features include component tests read and write functions that display the data and card comparison routines. Configuration settings can also be user-defined.
